GMC is the world’s largest simulated business administration competition across the five continents and officially certified by the European Foundation for Management Development (EFMD). It aims to improve the business administration and simulated business teaching in colleges and universities around the globe and promote the standardization of enterprise management technology through simulated modern training means. By now, GMC has attracted players from over 40 countries and regions, and hence can be called the Olympics in business strategy simulation.

There were 146 students of 31 teams from NKBS MBA Center participating in the Challenge this year. Through intensive preparations in the past over three months, Yuezhen Yuanting Team, consisting of Xu Hao (head of the team), Wang Bo, Zhou Qingjie, Li Yihui and Han Yu, stood out from more than 3,000 peers and got the qualification for the final in China. January 12, 2020 marked the holding of the final. Since the strength of the promoted 32 teams were comparable, the competition turned out to be fierce. Even in this occasion, the cool-minded Yuezhen Yuanting Team, led by Teacher Liu Shuo of NKBS MBA Center and advised by Associate Professor Liang Feng, won the challenge through mutual encouragement and coordination.

This year, a total of 2 teams of NKBS won the first prize of the Challenge in China, 6 teams the second prize, and 12 teams the third prize. The results are much better than those achieved before the reform of competition system. This can be translated into a New Year gift that NKBS MBA Center presents to NKU.
