[Good News] NKU Representative Team Won the Third Prize in Nationwide Final of the 17th China MBA Entrepreneurship Competition

      July 14, 2019 witnessed holding of the nationwide final of the “Guangming Ubest Cup” 17th China MBA Entrepreneurship Competition in Shanghai Jiao Tong University. Players from North China region, East and Central China region, South China region, Shanghai Jiao Tong University and overseas business schools were scored openly. NKBS Representative Team was made up of Ren Fei (head of the team) and Wu Fan enrolled in MBA during 2018 and Guo Yuan enrolled during 2019. They stood out from 313 teams out of 91 business schools, and were promoted to the final with the championship in North China region. During the final, they offered the project called “Recycling and Disposal Plan for Domestic Waste in Small- and Medium-sized Cities” to compete with 17 regular season projects, and won the third prize. Ranking the first and the second places were Tsinghua University’s team with “Megarobo” project and Tongji University’s counterpart with “RT electromagnetic actuator in support of China Smart Manufacturing”.

      Focusing on the popular topic of waste recycling and disposal, the project of NKU Representative Team reflected NKU MBA students embraced the concept of leveraging technology innovation to guide the industrial improvement and get better life. This was why they received good remarks from the judges, experts, investors and over 1,000 audiences on the scene. With entrepreneurial passions, the participants were striving to practice the environmental philosophy of low-carbon, green, ecological and sustainable development, and carry out instrumental explorations on the journey of entrepreneurship and innovation. As the University’s centenary day draws near, the students present such a special gift to NKU, which will encourage more students to study hard and add more glories to the University in the way ahead.
